UWA Open Day 2011... {event}

Today, I thought I'd share some event photos from the University of WA -  Albany's recent Open Day. Hundreds of pics taken at this event but here's a few of the staff and volunteers hard at work talking up the benefits of studying in Albany vs. heading off to the big-smoke.

I really enjoy getting my teeth into a photo-shoot for the purpose of promotion.  

Prior to my re-incarnation as a photographer, I spent 20 years working in the marketing field.  So for me, shooting for websites/brochures etc brings together my two careers into one.   This UWA Albany Centre is one such shoot.  My brief was to capture some of the typical scenes at the Albany campus so that future brochures could peppered with a bit of "Albany flavour".   It goes without saying that the gorgeous models were all local students (two are friends of mine).  Here's a few of my favourite pics from the many we created.
