Sneak peek; Tegan + Bong... {wedding}

I can't wait to share some more from this wedding - the bridal party were sooo much fun! But here's one of the gorgeous couple - Tegan + Bong - amongst the trees at Denmark.

Casey + Trevor, 12 February 2011 {wedding}

You will have trouble finding a more relaxed bride than this one.  Casey was in fact the calming influence on her mum - as well as her hairdresser! 

I had eagerly been watching, hoping, praying that the weather forecast was wrong (as it so often is).  We were anticipating howling winds & possibly rain.  But we needn't have bothered  - this outdoor wedding at Forest Hill Winery was to go ahead with a gentle breeze & (almost) clear skies.  Event the ocean at Greens Pool was mirror flat.

The perfect day Casey & Trevor - thank you for inviting me to be part of it.

Sneak peek; Greens Pool, Denmark

I LOVE it when a bride makes her wedding truly about what makes her (& him) happy ... not about what they saw in a magazine, or what someone else suggested they do or wear!  

Casey's bridesmaids tell me she is a true beach-babe & her wedding day was a true reflection of this.  The colour scheme screamed "summer" with the bridesmaids dressed in a striking turquoise (the colour of our Southern Coast bays) & carrying parasols, & their hair was perfect in a relaxed summery style.  

Casey glowed in the late afternoon sun at Greens Pool.... and Trevor melted just watching her! How could he not?

Jade + Andy, 18 December 2010 {wedding}

They are a truly stunning couple.  

Jade is petite & Audrey-Hepburn-ish, & radiates exquisite style. 

Andy, a pro-sailor, is windswept & sun-kissed (& apparently a bit salty after a morning surf at Ocean Beach).

They made a breathtaking bride & groom.  They were married in St Leonard's, Denmark, & had their reception at Forest Hill Vineyard.

Without doubt the best wedding speeches I have ever heard.  Even the Priest was hilarious (although I wasn't sure if this was intentional - the speech was about making babies??)  It was such a pleasure to be part of Jade & Andy's day.  Here's a bit of a glimpse, plus a slide-show at the bottom.

Sneak peek from Denmark wedding...

Here's a quick one from yesterday's wedding in Denmark, taken just as we left for the church (for the most entertaining sermon I have heard... but more on that later).
