Voila...

Yesterday was my last day of work before taking a few weeks holiday... but some people may think that I'd be hard stretched to call it work!? I was slaving away taking photos at the Literary Lunch featuring chef, writer and TV personality (recently seen on Masterchef and ABC's Poh's Kitchen) Emmanuel Mollois, who runs the exquisite "Choux Patisserie" in Swanbourne.  It was a long lunch as part of Albany's 2010 Sprung Writers Fest, held at Oranje Tractor.  Here's a glimpse of my hard day at work.  See you in three weeks.

 

 

Heartbreak eyes...

He's just too adorable.  Even though he wasn't feeling crash-hot, he was the perfect angel for me at this shoot.  He knew how to work the camera with those big brown eyes.

Sunshine + smiles...

Sometimes, when it's been raining for days, you can be lucky and have the sun smile on you... and that's what happened for us here. But how could you not smile at these little lovelies?

 

In front of the camera...

This classy lady is used to being the one directing the photographer so she was very uncomfortable to have the camera turned in her direction!  Lynette is a talented hair stylist who has carried home many a national hair fashion award over the years.  Here's a candid of her.

Safety in numbers...

We had a lot of fun with this shoot.  Its for a "famous" local choir, Safety in Numbers, who are all about fun and encouragement.  It was very inspirational to be serenaded whilst working!

A distraction...

I'm working on a "really serious business shoot" today but, Dene, your princess was a distraction! I just had to have a play with this one! (Proper sneak peeks coming in a few days...)

Ah, so that's why it's busy!
