Pretty Willow + Lush Foral Designs... {weddings}

This is a sneak peek of a shoot from Saturday that I did with local business Lush Floral Designs & Perth-based Pretty Willow Hire at Oranje Tractor Vineyard.

Man with a Plan, Magazine Cover... {editorial}

I'm very sad to see Andrew leave Albany and take the Wild Duck Restaurant with him. I had one final visit to take this cover shot for the nationally-distributed Restaurant and Catering magazine.
 
Shame I didn't get to actually EAT anything on this visit!

Furry Family Members... {family portraits}

As you know, I LOVE it when families involve their four-legged family members in photo-shoots. 

Dogs have a magical talent for making the rest of the family relax and be themselves.  I'm sure its because our furry friends are so uninhibited - the attention of the camera lens doesn't frighten them the way it does us humans (me included).

Kaili + Tye, Albany, 11 August, 2012... {Portrait Session}

Kaili's mum was so disappointed that she would be out of town and miss seeing her beautiful girl dressed for her school ball last weekend. So here are some photos that I took before the ball.  Mum, you should be very proud!

I just loved Kaili's hair.  (And so did Tye I think!)

Can't take it all too seriously - after all, you're spring chickens!

Lisa + Daniel, Denmark, 18 February 2012... {wedding}

 Jeepers, I've been back from holidays for nearly two weeks and I'm not sure where the time has gone!  Lots of catching-up ... and my poor blog has been neglected. Time to dust off the cobwebs.

So here's a wedding from February. Lisa and Daniel live in the Goldfields but travelled to Denmark, along with their bridal party and guests for their wedding day, which fell on one of the Denmark's warmest - fortunately they are used to the hot weather.  

Lisa has a special connection with her father who is unwell so I made sure I captured their special bond throughout the day. I must admit to tearing up a bit when he saw his daughter for the first time as a Bride. And I wasn't the only one.

Goodbye My Friend.... {personal}

Well, I'm officially back from holidays and have started editing my last wedding of the season so stay tuned for some more sneak peeks from Broome. 

Some sad news... most of my clients would have met my loyal hairy office assistant, Ruby, when you've met with me in at the office. I'm adjusting to life without my "first-born" who passed away a few weeks ago. 

The office just doesn't feel the same without her companionship.  I miss you Ruby.

I'm actually on holidays but couldn't resist sharing a quickie from Dayna and Phil's Cable Beach wedding a few days ago...

Office closed until 1st August... {personal}

In the wee hours of last night, I finished Bryn + Laura's wedding photos just in time for today's departure to Broome (yes, with two kids...driving eeekk!) for Dayna & Phil's wedding next week.

From Cheynes Beach to Cable Beach - I know I know, I'm one lucky photographer.

My office will be closed from now until 1st August but feel free to contact me during this time for information about weddings. See you in a month :)

 

Yvette + Rhys, The Boardwalk, Middleton Beach... {engagement}

Yvette + Rhys are moving from Perth to Darwin before their December wedding so there was no rescheduling of this engagement session despite VERY wet weather all day.  

We grabbed our chance when we could and headed to the beach for this wintery session...
