One thing I DO NOT miss from my 20 years in tourism marketing - writing tourism award submissions! It reminds me of uni days when a massive assignment is due - ahhh! Hours and hours and hours of work go into these entries - oh so labourious! (Although its all worth it when you pick up a big one - wahoo!)
But I LOVE taking photos for our local businesses who are entering them. This feeling of relief reinforces my decision for a career change at age 40.
It was with great empathy that I arrived to take some VERY LAST MINUTE photos for the staff at the Middleton Beach Holiday Park for their awards submission. Good luck guys - you deserve it. What a great bunch to have looking after you on a holiday!
