One lazy day in 2009, I decided to embark on a photo-a-day-for-a-year challenge. I set myself a goal to upload a different photo every day - some are of my gorgeous clients, some are of my ever obliging family and friends.

Well, I reached the end of the challenge year, and while I didn't quite succeed at a photo-a-day, this blog became part of my weekly routine.

And so I continue...at a new location.

Katie + Dan, 19th February 2011 {wedding}

I'm really not sure where the last four months have gone - Katie + Dan's gorgeous day seems as though it was just the other day. (I'd LOVE some of Esperance's February weather today instead of these grey days. ) It was an absoluetly stunning day in every way - just perfect for some beach 4WD-ing. 

And this was a different sort of wedding.  It started with a traditional church ceremony but then we all jumped into 4WDs & headed out along the waterline for drinks & pics on one of Esperance's magical beaches, where the sand really does squeak.  Then back in the 4WD just on sunset and on to the legendary Condignup Tavern  - decked out like we'd never seen before.

Another not-so-typical aspect of this wedding was Katie's amazing dress... I LOVED it!
